I needed to print quite a few pictures but I didn’t want to use a million different papers. I tried 4 different collage apps before this one and none of them were what I wanted. They had water marks, or you couldn’t customize it specifically. This one worked quite easily, you could order pictures however you wanted, and it wasn’t too screwy. I could see how it might not be the greatest if you want a preset arrangement, but for me it worked perfectly!

I use this app ALL the time. Best collage app out there. Even the Lite version. I just would like it if you could put gifs in there! And have them actually PLAY. THAT would make this app perfect. All the other collage apps that offer gifs in the pictures to play aren't as good as this app. I don't know if the gif-playing is offered in the full version but I would like it if it was! I would buy it then!!!

From what I could tell, there's not much that happens automatically in this app--essentially, you import one photo at a time (no batch select? really?) then arrange the manually. I couldn't find an "undo" or reverse certain actions (for example, the Rotate tool could only do clockwise rotations in about 15-degree steps). For something as simple as a photo collage, this is just too much work.

Montage Lite is an app for people who think outside the box. No templates are provided - you place images on a canvas, where they can be moved around and manipulated. Everything you create with Montage Lite is unique.

There are two things you should know about this application:

Montage Lite is the free version of Montage. Built on the same technology, the Lite version is a simpler, more streamlined experience - it retains the ability to place and manipulate an unlimited number of images on a canvas, but lacks the advanced image editing capabilities of the paid version.

- It is an application on its own right

There are no ads. No in-app purchases. No watermarks. The application does not nag you every step of the way to purchase the full version.

Montage is one of the oldest of the photography applications still in development: its first version was released in 2009. Montage Lite came soon afterwards. From the very beginning, the idea was that the Lite version should not be a crippled or trial version of the original, but a useful application on its own.
