App Profile: Africlock

The AfriClock app or known in Afrikaans as AfriKlok is a time and attendance logger making use of QR codes, NFC tags or manual clocking. It may be used as a standalone app or as part of a larger system, complementing our Windows-based time and attendance plus payroll application.

When used in standalone mode, it allows you to e-mail clocking data using the Share function on your phone. When used in conjunction with our Windows-based time and attendance system, the clock data is automatically uploaded to our website, where the data can be processed with the Windows-based time and attendance application.

If you allow location access, the app will also log coordinates for each transaction, allowing the user to locate the record on any map service, to ensure that the clocking occurred in a proper location (not at the workman's house, for example).

You may remove employees, e.g. those who have resigned or who may have been dismissed.
