WHY IS THE APP FREE?
We do not believe in charging you a fee for using our app to improve your financial health. It would contradict Crystal’s purpose.

IF CRYSTAL IS FREE, HOW DO WE MAKE MONEY?
At this point in time, the app is totally free and we do not yet earn any revenue. However, we are building a really powerful price comparison and switching feature which will be available to you VERY SOON. With the feature, we will earn a small commission from the provider when you switch to a new network, broadband or energy plan through Crystal.

In the near future, we will also be launching a number of features & products that will help you optimise your finances while also helping us generate revenue.

The Crystal team believes in using technology to fight climate change and inefficient systems. This is why we are building our technology on Serverless Architecture. We have built an optimised backend that runs at 100% efficiency. This reduces the amount of electricity used to run our technology.
