App Profile: ICRWY LESSONS I Can Read

Over 200 step-by-step systematic phonics lessons with Miss Emma, The Reading Whisperer®. Just follow along! Suitable for children aged 3–6 years. Use with the Monster Spelling Piano app for iPads to reinforce the phonics foundation acquired during SSP Phases 1 and 2, now featuring over 100 mapped high-frequency words! The I Can Read Without You (ICRWY) Lessons with Word Mapping Tool app is free to download and includes a variety of resources. Around 40 core SSP phonics and high-frequency word lessons are included, all created by Miss Emma, The Reading Whisperer®, to support learning to map words orthographically, from 'speech to print' AND 'print to speech.'

Miss Emma holds a Master's degree in Special Educational Needs and is undertaking doctoral work in the UK. She has developed systems for teaching both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners to read and spell together.
