Reviews: What People Think About EveryTwo: Biweekly Budgeting

So far I’m enjoying the simplistic design of the app and it does help me to situate myself organizing my budget. However, one thing that other apps have that I feel this one could really use is a progress bar of sorts for each added expense. I’m not saying the app needs to be able to connect to your bank as I’m sure that would unfortunately involve premium subscription charges. But if we can actually see a progress bar for our individual expenses budget inserts via our transactions (even if we have to manually insert each transaction which I wouldn’t mind), that would be crucially beneficial. It allows the user to see how close they are to reaching their set threshold for each expense budget added. For example, if I set on there that my transportation budget is $100 every month (or week or whatever), it would be nice to see how close I am to reaching that $100 threshold with my spending. Again, even if we can’t connect to our bank, perhaps we can manually update the progress bar with each expense ourselves just so we can visually see how we’re doing. This is my one and only major advice for a simple and free to use app.

Out of the many apps I’ve downloaded so far this is my favorite. It’s the only one that does biweekly which is what I need. It would be nice if there were a free trial period - even if only for a week - so you could get the full picture of what you’re paying for. Another suggestion would be a calendar view to get the full picture of the month, I really liked that in one of the other apps. Some theme options would be cool.

I enrolled in the monthly subscribe feature. And I connected my bank account. This is important for me as my goal is to streamline and automate my budgeting. While the process to connect, my bank account was smooth, customizing my budget using bank transactions was not. Able to easily add transactions into my budget. However, I was not able to edit the descriptions of those transactions to be more reader friendly. I also did not see where you could categorize those expenses. This could be user error but I quickly determined that this app was not exactly what I was looking for. What this app offers I might as well just use my bank account statements for my budget. However, I think the developer is building something that will ultimately be very useful for many people.
About EveryTwo: Biweekly Budgeting
I created EveryTwo because I couldn’t find a low-cost and easy-to-use budget app that would let me do biweekly budgeting. This budget planner will let you fully customize your budget schedule whether it’s a weekly budget, biweekly budget, bimonthly budget, monthly budget, or any other time frame you need. You can also fully customize the time frame for your recurring income and recurring expenses.

I want to make my budgeting app the absolute easiest way to organize your bills and paychecks (and avoid annoying overdraft fees!) so email me at [email protected] if you have any comments or suggestions!
