Camp Defense

Seems to be a watered down version of the game Towerlands - tower defense TD. Unlike the aforementioned game, this game in particular does not have a clan system and pvp (yet). In my humble opinion this hurts the game severely, as there are no events, no interaction between clan members and most definitely not much incentive to compete, other than playing the regular game mode of clearing waves. Don’t get me wrong PVE is not bad and in some games it works better, but for this style and system there needs to be several game play modes to maintain a certain level of interest. I like the concept and killing zombies are more satisfying than regular horde of fiends, but it’s two glaring cons are holding back the true potential of this game. Lastly, just be aware that if you are playing f2p it’s an ad fest. There is no other efficient way of gaining gold other than watching tons of ads (gold is essential to upgrade almost everything). If the game can implement a clan system and pvp then it’s above average, but at the present moment it’s unfortunately below average!

For a small little tower defense game on your phone I think it’s pretty great. One thing I appreciate the game for it’s not constantly showing ads in your face they’re always ads that you can choose like tripling up the coins you get after each round and things like that. By limiting the amount of ads it makes the game much more enjoyable and I appreciate it. The game also doesn’t make you wait hours for things to be upgraded or built like other games like this. No I do have one problem and that’s that certain characters upgrades and things like that start to cost jams and jams as far as I have been playing or not very easy to get a hold of unless you pay for them granted the game has to make money somehow so this is an a huge complaint because you could still get pretty far without using gems.

As the title says, the game is fun but needs better labeling for stuff. There is a clan button, but when does it unlock? Is there a wave to overcome? Do you have to beat a certain area of the map? Do you have to level up your truck? No clue! Same with the tower button, no idea how to unlock. Many of the items for the front of the truck, like coals and such, might animate or say they cause damage but make no mention as to how. Only status effect I’ve noticed so far has been stun, the little stars above an enemy’s head. Don’t know if there are others outside of the shaman buff, and there’s no information on it either. I know that less is more and maybe experimentation is what you wanted for your players, but some of us like to know what we’re playing with before we experiment. It’s why we put labels on stuff in the science department, so we know what we’re mixing and can reproduce those results while knowing why something happens.
