Reviews: What People Think About Sleep Details

Biggest complaint is that you can only add tags and ratings the day of! It would be extremely helpful to go back and add tags after the fact, especially for data taken before you started using the app. (Also REM detection would be great, and an explanation of what makes different measures red/ yellow/ blue.)

So I’ve been finding ways to get more thorough information on my sleep since I have insomnia and it’s hard for me to maintain a sleep schedule. Most sleep tracking apps have a subscription model service which I kinda find tedious if it’s going to be something that I would need long term. There are a few things on those apps that you don’t find here, other apps do feature other things such as music that you can play to help make you fall asleep. REM sleep tracking which really doesn’t mean much to me, and maybe other features such as snore or voice detection while in bed.
Those 3 features don’t matter as much because the price of this app is WAY cheaper than the other sleeping tools that are out there. While other developers try and tack on a subscription model, this app is only $4 for the lifetime edition. Only $4 and you get to analyze and compare data really easily. It does everything that I would need it to and I would like there to be a tip option, and if any dev sees this. I’d like to request a few things. A tip option would be nice for other people who would like to tip anything extra for the price, maybe also REM sleep tracking if that could be implemented. Any other features would also be nice.

I noticed that it doesn’t always pick up on when I am sleeping like my Fitbit did which is disappointing. There also is not much description on what your sleep score means…or what they are basing their rating on so you can see if you need to improve or why did I sleep well and it’s saying I have a 56 score? This area definitely needs improvement consider how much you pay for the Watch and their competitor Fitbit does better in this area.

To highlight this, we added a simple memory test in Sleep Details: 1) Before going to bed try memorize a set of icons and their location. 2) Then after waking up, try remember and fill in these items. 3) New icons and locations will be generated for each day, so you can track your long-term progress by completing a new test each day.
-Add Sleep Details as a complication on your watch faces

How are different health metrics used to calculate your last nights sleep score? As an example your score will be lower if your last nights heart rate average is higher than your weekly resting heart rate average. In this case the heart rate ring will be colored red so you can easily spot which metrics are negatively affecting your score.
