The PDGM Result is derived from the 2020 Home Health Patient-Driven Groupings Model, and takes the keys points to obtain the 30-day period payment.
The PDGM Result Features:
• Wage index for city and/or state to obtain accurate reimbursement amount
• Admission Source (two subgroups) and Timing of the 30-day period (two subgroups)
• ICD code index with Clinical Grouping
• ICD for Comorbidity Adjustment (from Secondary Diagnosis)
• Calculate Primary Diagnosis with Secondary Diagnosis to obtain None, Low or High comorbidity for a higher reimbursement
• Functional Impairment Level (from OASIS items) to obtain Low, Medium or High
• LUPA results
• Reimbursement results, and will be able to calculate cost for Nursing, HHA, Therapies and other disciplines with a profit or loss.
