The app has a great concept. But there needs to be more of a preview or selection for who you are going to talk to. Maybe do a tinder format where you match with a couple girls and then you can chat with them on text and setup a meet time. I might sound crazy, but I feel like this is a better way to filter your selection of what type of people you are interested in.

This app is completely garbage. Me and my girlfriend spent over 30 minutes just trying to add eachother, and once we finally did we were met with a message that said there were no matches available tonight. So basically, you can only use the app during certain times of the day. Not to mention, Zoom U advertises to mostly minors (via tiktok), while the app can only be used by individuals over 18. The matchmaking process is terrible, the instructions are unclear and the only information you have on an individual is their school and major. Really just a waste of time, I have no clue how they get enough revenue to support such a large advertising campaign. Also, like what even is the concept behind the app? Am I supposed to add a friend of the same gender so we match with two girls then pick which one we want, or are we supposed to go with our significant others and try to make best buddies with some random couple in who knows where? I’m just disappointed, this isn’t even close to what they advertise and I’m still unclear as to what the point of the app is. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk on why Zoom U is a trash app.

You put you age, interests and location only to get matched with people that are completely opposite of what you ask for and then it’s awkward! The app needs a lot of work itself and may need people that are more qualified to run all the technical stuff. It’s not terrible because sometimes you do get matched up with or get to talk to cool people. But it would be nice to get somebody that is at least over 18 considering I’m 22 or make separate matching groups for high school and college students! The creators do have amazing ideas and concepts, they just can’t deliver what they promise most the time! But like I said it’s still not a terrible app if you’re really really really bored!
