Whenever I had any issues the team always solved them. I just wish there was an option to not be interested in certain campaigns so that those campaigns can be pushed to people that qualify or are interested. Especially when there are ones sitting in there for months. I also don’t think that creators are giving enough time to create especially when/if they have other responsibilities. I don’t think it’s fair that we have to wait an unknown amount of time to receive the product, only to be inconvenienced to rush and produce content, to then have to wait an unknown amount of time for the brand to approve or request edits and finally get paid. All while being threatened by the app’s automatic response to quickly produce content. For example, I was accepted to participate in a campaign almost 3 months ago, the product still hasn’t arrived. The team told me that they haven’t heard anything from them. I get a notification everyday saying it’s overdue. Would this affect my overall rating? Speaking of ratings we should be able to rate the requesters as well. I’ve worked with some companies that were great and others not so much. There should be a cap on how many edits they can get. They are not paying a high quality team, at the rates they are paying, at the rates they are paying one edit should be enough. They should have to pay for more edits.

I just started my UGC journey with my new brand. I wanted a platform that I could start working with brands, and get used to creating videos quickly, and effectively. There are wonderful brands on here. I’ve worked with a few and they’re response rate has been good! Communication over all is good. I would say there was one time I had some confusion, but it all worked out. Over all great app, good experience and happy to be apart of the Billo UGC community. I only have 4/5 stars because you can’t filter by pricing and that’s something that’s important once you start generating videos. Also, some brands ask for a lot in their videos (scripts and more) and offer minimal pay. I think that waters down the market, I wish billo had a pricing plan for the brands so that brands were required to pay out a minimum, especially based on what they required. :)

For one, the majority of their jobs are $25 & $30 for a video, but they charge the client at least $99… the creator is making $25, but Billo is getting at least $74. (You can’t knock the hustle though because creators are constantly signing up, Billo is getting a crazy ROI). Secondly, they are the only platform that allows their hard working creators to be rated. I was brand new, getting a job everyday. I had only been on the app for 20 days and I had 16 jobs already. I was getting 5 star ratings and positive messages, but I got 1 - 4 star rating from a company… I have no idea why. I asked for feedback and they didn’t give it to me. As soon as my overall ratings dipped below 5 stars because of the 4 star rating, I stopped getting jobs all together. That’s wild… My advice is to use other platforms and work with brands on your own through email. Filming and editing can be tedious. You need to be paid at least $150 for that kind of work. If you do use Billo, don’t get stuck on there for too long. Creators really are making hundreds off of 1 video everyday and striking thousand dollar deals with brands on their own. Put in your own work, network, gain experience, and do this without the help of a third party…. Your content is worth more than $30.
