If you are moving to Canada as a permanent resident or on work/study permit, ICICI Bank Canada’s Hello Canada Account is right for you. Before arriving in Canada, you can apply and fund your new bank account from your home country through the Hello Canada app. You can even apply for a Canadian credit card through this app.
Steps to Open Your Account

1. Apply Online
• Complete the application form on the ICICI Bank Hello Canada app or website (icicibank.ca)
• Upload the supporting documents
• Your account number will be sent to your ICICI Bank Canada Secure Mailbox

2. Fund Your Account
• Deposit your funds as per the instructions
• Receive a Certificate of Balance as proof of funds in your ICICI Bank Canada Secure Mailbox

3. Activate Your Account
• Upon your arrival in Canada, complete an in-person identity verification
• That's it! You are all set to conduct day-to-day banking
