Using this app is a requirement to start a free charging session for a Porsche Taycan. But this app lacks many of the features of ElectrifyAmerica’s app (which are most if not all of the stations being activated) , such as sending app or text notifications when a session has started, has ended, or had an error.
Please bring this app up to the same level of functionality as EA’s app. Or just pay them to write your app and rebrand it.
Also, Release Notes should specify which actual bugs have been fixed. Generic release notes like: “bugs fixed” are annoying and tell your customers: “We don’t care about you. You aren’t smart enough to understand.”

The Charge NA app needs an update to sync with newer stations now available. Also, when starting a new session, we receive error every time saying “Unexpected Error! An unexpected error occurred. Please repeat your last activity.” The charger system starts the charging process anyway, without any details. Very strange.

Works great. I haven’t had any issues that others had. Use it with my “three year free charging” with Electrify America for my Taycan.
App and EA network fast and easy to use. Connect coupler, open the app, select the site, select the dispenser, click on start charge. You do have to acknowledge a few icons on the dispenser screen, easy to follow. History of charging events stored in app.
Map is fast to update when calculating trips and distances.
It’s slow to show busy status of dispensers. Also I wouldn’t rely on this app to monitor state of charge if you’ve stepped away. Use the Porsche Connect app. it’s more up to date.
Also, I would make sure your dealer registers your vehicle for free charging if you qualify. Need that completed prior to using the app for free charging.
