Sound quality, settings, customization... What else do you want? My mid-bass speakers can't stand high intensity bass 🤣 be careful with turning up all the bass in this app. THEY SHOULD MAKE MIRRORLINK WITH THE AUTO STEREO AND THIS APP WOULD BE A HYPER-HIT!

I tried this in my search for an alternative to the stock music player that works with CarPlay, but organization of music seems very limited when importing via iTunes file sharing or importing from other apps. Once in the app, it doesn’t seem like files can be shared unless I’m missing something. Playback is awkward with several steps needed just to play from a single folder. However, I will keep the app and stay tuned for future updates.

Love the retro interface.
Quite unstable though. Buttons and the bottom tabs sometimes fail to respond and the whole app would freeze with music still playing.
I would also love lyrics display support, and perhaps a better looking icon.

Wave - customizable offline-first Hi-Res audio player for iPhone and iPad. Supports lossless & lossy formats: FLAC, MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, AIFF, ACC, 3GP and more, provides a very high quality sound (can play files up to 96kHz & 24 Bit resolution) with various sound effects and enhancements available via plug-ins.

• control playback speed in 0.1 - 2x, useful feature for listening audio books. Unique PITCHSAVE feature doesn't produce distortion for the voice-based audio content
• use keyboard media keys, headphones controls, and Apple Remote to control the playback
• easily add audio files via airDrop, open dialog and Finder context menu
• use powerful smart filters which are built from the existing audio files (filter by Artist, Album, Genre, Year etc.)
