About The VANG Game
Welcome to VANG, where you match Verbal, Algebraic, Numeric and Graphical cards together.
Sharpen your skills with VANG to turn seemingly difficult math lessons into something fun. You’ll learn how to quickly understand quadratic functions, fraction operations, linear functions, linear relations and integer operations after playing VANG over time.
Here’s a quick how-to:
- Create a new player with your name or nickname
- Choose which deck to use; Fraction Operations for example
- Select which mode: Single Player, Wireless Multiplayer or Pass & Play Multiplayer.
- If multiplayer, add all the player names
- Then dive in.
The goal is to start off placing your algebraic cards down (they have red text and an = sign). Then match the remaining 3 card types to the matching algebraic card. For example, if you’ve placed down an algebraic card that shows n = 2/3 + 1/3 then you’d match the numeric card (the number card in green text) over that algebra equation that shows the answer 7/6 or 1 & 1/6. Use your growing math skills to match the matching graphical (image card) and verbal card (text card).
At first glance, this may seem intimidating but don’t worry, once you’ve played a few rounds you’ll not only get the hang of it, you’ll find your math skills leaping ahead!
