I’m so glad I pre-ordered this game! The story is pretty good; I’m really interested. It took me by storm when the male lead turned into a female. Coming from a guy, not to be gay but the male lead is really hot as a female😁. I really hope there’s gonna be a background story about the scientist Mariru. I also noticed that the exp amount in chapter 2 isn’t that great, but I’m doing fine so far as a level 15. Overall this is a amazing game and I really can see this game being popular; even if it doesn’t you guys still have my vote that I’ll still play.
Added 9/27: As I have continued to play this games I really love the intro SOO much that I’ve thought about this games becoming into an anime. The music in the intro is great and there’s enough story to make this into a good anime. Plus I believe the genes will be action, drama, fan-service, ecchi, and comedy.

This rating is based entirely off the game and not at all downrated from bugs or crashes like most the reviews. I’m just gonna be honest guys, it’s really not the best.
I’ll start with the positives tho. The story piqued my interest from what I saw of it (first 3 chapters) the music is super catchy (albeit limited sound tracks) and I do like the 4 weapon system. It also has a cool blitz system that lets you instantly clear levels you’ve already beaten (and met the condition upon clearing) which makes farming pretty effortless.
On the other hand, the game’s combat is honestly terrible. It’s a beat em up game with virtually 2 buttons: attack and special. You can’t roll, block, dodge, targeting is a chore, sometimes your character just feels like standing around when you’re clearly giving input. This alone killed the game for me but it’s far from the only flaw.
The gacha rates are, quite honestly terrible. You don’t get gacha currency from beating quests either, and from what I saw your daily gem/tarot card acquisition is abysmally low. That being said you do get a fair amount starting out, but those are finite. On top of that, just gonna inject a little bit of personal opinion here but it’s a game with females only and NONE OF THEM ARE WAIFU. I don’t even understand how they pulled it off but the ladies are average at best. Like cmon at least give us that if you’re gonna release a mediocre game.

I only played it little bit of it. And so far I really love this game. This is all new to me, a boy that becomes a girl when waking up is really interesting. Combat and movement are smooth, but I sometimes don’t be hearing the weapon sound effects when you hit enemies sometimes, so that will be fix later in a future update. Story is really good, explains who the main character is and how the city becomes into ruins from that one item (I can’t remember the name of it). Last but not least the gotcha system is really nice and cool, you get to select a star from space and you have a chance to get a witch weapon/girl, or some useful items. I give this game 10/10 in my opinion especially if there are any anime loves out there

Substance H, a.k.a. the Divine Touch, is a general term for items and tools that activate supernatural phenomena at certain conditions. In the summer of 2027, World War III broke out as the main zone of Tokyo was destroyed by Substance H, which ended in 2034 with the loss of half of the population and the dissolution of more than 200 countries and governments. This war is also known as Seven Years War.
[Academy City]
Six of the most advanced organizations in the field of Substance H have formed a peace alliance. The reason for the truce is that each side has a weapon of Substance H, being capable of destroying the world. Under such circumstances, the result is a global standoff. In response to strong anti-war sentiment, the six organizations branded themselves as Academy Cities through political propaganda.

On July 6th, 2037, a group of terrorists broke into a public exhibition of Substance H and unsealed the Ross Goblet. Its curse was unleashed, causing brimstone and fire falling from the sky. The Fifth Academy City was destroyed in the blink of an eye... That was how it should be. However, the causality had been forcibly manipulated by an unknown force as if the catastrophe never happened. The Ross Goblet mysteriously disappeared, and a boy became a girl because of the change of the causality...
