This app was quick and easy to set up and works as advertised. I’m able to play pc games from anywhere and so long as I have decent WiFi connection there’s very little lag. I love being able to navigate my pc like a tablet, which is not a feature I’ve seen in other streaming services. That said here are a few things that could be improved: If you go into the nvidia control panel on your pc you can add a custom resolution that fits your devices screen. It’d be nice if this was something we could add to Rainway’s resolution settings as well— as of now I have to manually adjust my pc’s resolution every time I connect. Another suggestion I have for the devs is to add external monitor support, so if I plug my iPad into a TV it can use a 16:9 aspect ratio and fill the whole screen. And one final issue I’ve encountered is that leaving the app for longer than a couple of minutes without quitting the stream causes the Rainway client to crash. This is probably due to iOS’s multitasking limitations, but if Rainway could somehow automatically quit the stream when its minimized that would save your users a lot of headache. These are minor blips though all things considered, and having used other streaming apps I can say that Rainway is probably the best. Excellent product and at just the right price. Good on ya, devs!

First thing is that Rainway is a amazing service. It good and fast but not that fast. I would recommend Rainway despite the bugs I will say. So now first before the bugs are pros and cons PROS: Fast, Detects a lot of Games, Amazing UI, and on console. CONS: Bugs, works with mostly controller supported games, and completely slows down your computer(Took me 8 minutes to log in to my computer). So now the bugs: #1 Can’t Connect to the Server: If you can’t connect to the server on your phone then I know how to fix it. So first you need to remove it from the background and then open it again, this should work. #2 Computer Lag: If you had shut down your computer with Rainway still in the background then it may completely slow your computer down. So next time before shutting down remove Rainway from the background when you want to play it put it back in the background. #3 Controls: The sad thing about Rainway is that it really only works with controls unless you plug a keyboard and mouse to your phone. So if the controller onscreen or connected to your phone doesn’t work then either take your wireless keyboard and mouse(If you have one) and use it near you computer or connected a controller to your computer and use it while looking at your phone. Honestly this is 5 Star Quality software and should earn more respect although people already respect it.

There is only 2 problems stopping me from giving 5 stars to this app. I have a 3 monitor desktop and when I start a game from the app it changes the locations of my monitors within windows. After I finish playing I have to go and reset their positions within windows to be able to use the mouse properly. The second problem is that when I have touch set up instead of keyboard wherever I touch is off to the upper right quite a bit from where the mouse actually presses. Its not to hard to pin down how far off this is, so after a bit of trial and error you will figure out where to press on your device to have the mouse click where you want it. However, this is still quite annoying when not using the controller. Other than that, this app works perfectly on my iphone! The controls are laid out very intuitively for the gamepad and side settings once in a game, and it is very easy to use. You can jump into a game and play very easily then stop whenever.
