I find it easy to use and I do recommend it to those who are new to soap making as well as those who are more experienced. The only drawback for me is the limited choices for additives and fragrances. It isn’t a deal breaker, but it would be nice to have a larger selection to work with.

I needed a good lye calculator and recipe handler and found this little beauty that does so much more. Soap genie will preview the different properties your oils will impart to your final product and will warn you if your soap might be lacking — too soft or too harsh, etc. Or better yet, use the automated calculator to help you build a better soap and optimize to whatever property you wish. Super solid and worth the money to go pro.

The creator really out did themselves with this one! I’m in love, it has every little thing I need and MORE! Please let me know when you come out with a skincare formulator app for lotions, creams and oils. It would be a life saver! Also I noticed a butter I use often was missing from your list, it’s call shorea seed butter, it’s quite amazing and would be a wonderful addition to your ingredients list.
