The Edge and Phlex are the swim tracking solution I have been dreaming about since I tried the first swim apps years ago; swim my workout, and the app figures it out and logs what I did.
I’ve used the Edge for a few workouts now and I am impressed. Auto detection of sets and strokes is pretty impressive, however when it cones to kicking sets, I found it lacking in accuracy, so I reached out to the customer support team, which was very responsive, and I believe this problem will be overcome, so I think it rates 5 stars for sure.
Kudos to the entire Phlex team, nice job so far!

I have been using the Phlex Edge for a few weeks now and it is great. I turn it on, swim my workout, tap it when a set is over and it does the rest. It gives me my times, my distance per stroke, the intervals, and my heart rate. I particularly like the heart rate feedback that it gives me during the workout. You can set it to vibrate at predetermined intervals so you know how hard you are working yourself.
I agree with an earlier comment about kicking sets and was glad to read that it is something they are working on - I don’t find it though to be a big deal in the scheme of things.
The device is relatively small, fits on your goggle strap and you don’t even know that you have it on. It is very ‘aqua-dyanamic’.
When I had an issue with the device, customer service was quick to respond. I would put my problem in the category of new -user-error.

I’ve been lucky enough to have gotten my EDGE in the first batch that they sent out. The Phlex team has been extremely accommodating in making sure that I have the experience I expect to have with the product.
Downloading the app upon receipt of my order, I was thrilled to see how easy to use the interface was. Only gotten 1 swim in since I got it, but that workout blew my mind.
Got all of my strokes and workout breakdowns perfectly! Excited to keep using the app
