App Profile: MyHome – Leic, Leics, Rutland

MyHome (Housing Options Made Easy) is a housing advice app for citizens of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. It is designed to help people who have housing problems where they are currently living.
It has been created by a Partnership of Council’s made up of:

Charnwood Borough Council
Harborough District Council
Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council
Leicester City Council
Melton Borough Council
North West Leicestershire District Council
Oadby & Wigston Borough Council
Rutland County Council

You will be asked some questions about your situation, and then you will be given some log-on details. Simply answer the questions, log on, and you will be given your tailored housing advice. You can then go through the advice and choose which actions you would like to take. All of the actions are designed to help you to decide what to do next so that you can keep your current home or find new accommodation before you become homeless – that might be to take some action yourself or get some help and advice from elsewhere.
