This app is just about perfect for what it’s supposed to do. The only thing missing is a find function for searching within documents. That, and there are a few little bugs here and there — the notch on my iPhone 11 covers the text, and the font menu is all white (can’t read it) when you choose a dark theme. Other than those small things, this is everything I could ask for in a plain text editor in an attractive package.

I love the ability to browse and access plain-text files from almost any source! I'm a big user of Dropbox and I have it locked with Face ID on my XS Max iPhone and although other apps don't have a problem with accessing Dropbox, TapEdit says: "Passcode Lock is Enabled... Files cannot be used with a passcode. If you would like to use Files, please open Dropbox and disable Passcode Lock." I can't disable my Dropbox security, maybe there's some other way TapEdit could access Dropbox like the other apps do?

I was looking for a simple text editor for iOS devices. I must have tried about 10 different ones and they all had some major failings. However, QuickText did exactly what it said it would do! I’m very pleased and I just bought the Pro version to continue to provide developer support. I would love to see search/find functionality added at some point. Regardless, I am quite pleased with this application!!
