The reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is because the documentation is terse and not too helpful. I’m all for games where you have to discover things by trial and error, but there is a limit to patience for such things and some minor hints would have helped. But I love this game.

Extremely addicting. A ton of unique scenarios that require precision and the ability to fully utilize every resource at your disposal. I like the simplistic graphical without being overly cutesy. It strikes a perfect balance that makes it feel like what it is - a very solid strategy game. The combinations of gems and towers working together multiples the possible ways that your set up functions. The various scenarios - and there are A LOT of them, 30 in medium, 30 in hard, require so much individual planning that no two games are alike. One recommendation I’d have for anyone who’s stuck on a level, check to see if you have any upgrades available. You’re rewarded with gems for completing a mission (which I didn’t realize until half way through) and upgrade what you need to strategically. Also, in the bottom right corner, you’ll see two icons, one of which is a lightning bolt. One of those is a massive attack, the other speeds up nearby towers. Play with them, another thing I realized too late. With those tips in mind, there is no level total not be able to complete it you’re strategizing properly. Only criticism is that the English seems pretty poor so I don’t really understand what they’re saying in the manual, but you get enough of a sense that you can learn as you go.

I really got into this tower defense game so much so that I paid $5 for upgrade crystals. But my enjoyment came from the first 4 levels. I was able to play those levels without damage and played them over and over. However, level 5 lost me and I haven’t even bothered with the game since. The difficulty wildly ramped up from level 4 to level 5 so much so that with all my weapons at “Max” upgrade, I still was not able to get through it without severe damage no matter what I did. So I saw no point going any further in the game. Be advised, don’t waste any money on upgrade crystals because they won’t help after level 4.
