It’s Sad that such a good educational system gets so many bad review, coz they are either using old and rusty iPads or an iPad with no space..
The globe (Orboot) and the app together is a great system of learning for kids kindergarten and up.. I personally feel it’s best if used with kids second grade and up.. even adults can learn a lot..
The new addition oko park is great.
I hope the developers keep up the good work and keep updating the app so it become better and better .its come a long way already.
In the tour portion I would like something where u are a train or a plane and u start from where u live and go around exploring the world bit by bit so it becomes like a game and there is achievements and prizes as you progress .
Also It would be great if u guys could lower the price o the globe a little so more people buy it.. also please add activities for the kids to do within the app
Orboot should be owned by every home schooler or those parents who use the iPad as an education tool for their kids..
The potential for the app to grow is limitless .. it’s up to developers to seek new ideas and evolve Orboot into something every kid enjoys do it..

Our 5 year old grandson just received the Orboot Earth Globe and loves it so far. The software is interactive and fun. Some aspects of the software will also work without the globe which is very useful.
We initially had some issues downloading and syncing the software, but the developer contacted us and provided an app update that fixed our connection and syncing problems. The interactive nature of using the iPad with the globe is a little tricky for a 5 year old to navigate, as the camera has to be aimed precisely at small stars on the globe for the app to introduce features, and if the user holds and aims the iPad with 2 hands (as per the instructions) they cannot tap the screen to access the interactive feature. We also wish the globe had some kind of labels on it to help kids identify continents, countries, oceans, etc. while they are looking at the globe without their electronic device. It seems like it would be a more valuable teaching and learning tool if the globe itself more closely and more accurately resembled a more traditional globe.

Sometimes, I just need a moment to myself, or a moment of calm during the hectic day. And sometimes, I just want to watch my kids get along for a little bit. Lol. This invention gives me all of that! My kids, ages 1, 3, 9 & 11 love this globe and the interactive app and they can all use it at the same time and even on their own (except for the 1 yo 😉). It's amazing to have something that's geared toward so many ages in our household! I love that the app does everything and the globe needs nothing, in order to work (no batteries or outlets). Nothing on the globe will ever need updating and the app can be easily updated with more information in the future (both were huge selling points for us).
I would love to see a flat map designed for this app, to easily travel with on planes and whatnot. And, maybe some travel games! 😊 Overall, we love Orboot so much that we bought a second globe for our niece and nephews! We can't wait to get the dinosaur globe next.
