I only downloaded this app to watch schitts creek - I was in the middle of my first episode and my phone crashed and kept getting stuck on the startup screen. It took me forever to get my phone working again, even a hard reset didn’t work and I had to put my phone in recovery mode. I have an iPhone X, and never had any problems until now and I was scared my phone wasn’t going to work again. I think there might be a problem with the ads which led to the crash. The app was fine for the first 15 mins I used it, but after that experience I think I’ll wait until the episodes are on Netflix.

This is ridiculously riddled with commercial interruptions. We use our log in for the TV provider and that still doesn’t allow you to skip commercials. It’s even more annoying if you want to go rewind an episode you’re watching because you may go back too far where you’d be forced to watch the commercials again! It would be great if the app was smart enough to know you watch the commercials already. Furthermore, it’s a complete buzz kill trying to watch everything and being interrupted every 5 minutes. Lastly, if you’re going to force commercials down our throats the least you can do is provide a variety of commercials. It’s the same commercials over and over again episode to episode.

Watched the first 6 episodes of a show yesterday, and other reviewers are right; there’s simply no way to turn off CC, BUT the most upsetting malfunction is that the app asks me to sign in with my Cable provider to watch the rest of the season. Absolute BS. And I don’t want a response like “you can still watch a number of shows for free.” The only reason I downloaded the app is to watch this ONE show. I’ll be deleting and telling everyone I know that they’ll just have to wait until the show is available on a legitimate streaming service. Two thumbs way down.
