I love this game I play it basically every day, I love changing the players names to my high school teams or college teams, the biggest thing I wish this game including is being able to customize jersey colors and team names or even give us our own team(s) to customize. Another thing I saw on a volleyball game I played before I found this one is you could customize the players hair color/ skin color as well as their power/ athleticism/speed/height. 2 other things are with the stats I would love to see assist and digs added, my final critique is to somehow save stats to a team so you could look later how many total kills and things you’ve gotten with that team and see each players progress across all games played. Really good - I would say it’s way too easy on the hardest mode though. I think it comes down to serve receive - it needs to be much harder on the player to stay in-system and needs massive improvement for the CPU because especially with the changes to serving, they are getting aced way too easily. I think the CPU setting is often to predictable and also poor out-of-system - it’s too often that they send a free ball over or they completely trap set the hitter (and the CPU hitters aren’t good at tooling the block). I suspect that tooling the block and improving hitter decisions are a much harder fix than the setting or serve receive though. Other small things that would be nice would be to assign players as lefties or righties - especially the opposites “Attackers” in the game. It’d be nice to have some be lefties as it changes the hitting angles. Overall, this is a fantastic game, it’s just way too easy to win in blowout fashion. UPDATE: I thought the blocking was fine and a nice update and I liked being able to move around the server. Opponent serve receive again still needs to dramatically improve along with their out-of-system setting. 8/14 Edit: When you lose set 3 against the CPU in 2018 World Championships, you automatically lose set 4 with the same score. Also - the CPU skips a server every time they side out.

The game is somewhat fun. If and only if you don’t run into the numerous problemson offense and defense. The libero never goes to left back like he’s supposed to, and the setter will do quick sets to a hitter who won’t approach. Serve receive is a buggy mess a slow serve will ace or a top will be a 3 pass. The timing is screwed. Setting a quick isn’t as effective as you’d think either. It’s glitchy and the blockers are normally there for it or you hitter won’t be. When you quick set a middle you always set further away from the net causing him to hit close to a back row hit instead of right on the net like in real life. This app is an absolute disaster. The physics are laughably bad—balls float, teleport, or fall like bricks with no consistency. Blocker movement or player movement might as well moving shopping cart on ice. As for tracking? Forget it. Half the time it doesn’t register touches, and when it does, it’s completely inaccurate. Bugs are everywhere: players will freeze, crashes, unresponsive controls—you name it. It’s like the developers never tested this once before dumping it on the store. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy frustration disguised as a volleyball game.
