Even educators are pronouncing the words wrong nowadays. It is difficult to preserve proper Cantonese. I have checked a few commonly mispronounced words and this dictionary points out the correct pronunciation every time. The voice pronunciation eliminates the guess work. All in all an excellent tool. Excellent app for Cantonese and traditional Chinese! I am a native speaker from hk and even some words in a children’s book can trip me so I use this app all the time to look up the pronunciation so I can teach my son how to correctly say something! Finally! A product that works! It’s so hard to find a Cantonese dictionary/translator that works. Traditional characters is a plus! There’s also an option to swap to mandarin and simplified characters as well. This is really helpful considering my daughter is in a mandarin immersion school. (33dc11)
