Once you get to a certain level, the letters they give you, x’s, z’s, q’s and very few decent vowels, make it almost impossible to win without purchasing extra letters. The game entices the novices by giving them the better letter tiles and then makes it progressively harder to win without spending a lot of money on “curses.” With enough time and money, you can buy your way into a legend spot. Fun game and can be challenging, but don’t get hooked.
P.S. When you get to a couple of hundred wins, all of your championships are against a computer generated person. Very dishonest.

The premise is decent, and the look is attractive. But it needs more players since it is all head-to-head. And, quite frankly, the game play gets a little repetitive and basic without curses—which you can generally only get with money. Either switch the board up with some twists or make it easier to earn curses. Otherwise a lot of players are gonna quit after only a few rounds.

I will be uninstalling. Not being able to earn any gems is not only slowing the game down, but only wanting people to purchase gems to go far in the game is just being a rip off. I can’t continue to play in one of my tournaments right now and I can’t pass my turn because I don’t have gems, why do u need gems just to pass when u can’t play? I think this game needs a lot of updating or a lot of people will be uninstalling (like me) unless they’re willing to keep spending a lot of money on gems.
