I went to the Apple Store to upgrade my phone. From the 11 pro max to the new 16 pro Max (talking with the staff was a problem in itself).
When it came to me wanting to pay I was told I cannot pay unless I use this “100% JAPANESE APP” !!!!!
After putting my information into this app multiple time I still was turned down in the end for even getting to full operating the payment plan/ methods.
“After considering the details of the procedures you have completed, we have unfortunately decided to postpone the use of some services, such as the 3, 6, and 12 installments of deferred payment and the PayDee Apple-exclusive deferred payment plan. We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations.”
Mind you I had to translate this message after waiting again for 15 minutes to get the email that told me no basically.
In addition “Please note that we are unable to answer questions regarding the detailed screening criteria. Thank you for your understanding.”
So literally can’t even get to the bottom of this.
In short. Do not use this app. You will waste your time.

This app says 0% interest. But you have to pay the transfer fee every time. This app is started by foreigners but you will not get anything in English. Installment buying process is also complicated. This app is for natives. I wonder why this is available outside.

If you are a foreigner don’t bother. You could have wonderful credit history but they will decline you if you are not Japanese. I could not even verify my identity with the exact information on my card. They won’t give a reason and search results show they screen out foreigners.
