As a huge fan of Neon Chrome, I was skeptical when I heard it was a single stick shooter. All of movie skepticism was for naught. This game not only turned my expectations upside down by proving to be more than capable mechanics wise, but I’ve found it to be spectacular and unique in its own right. Neon Chrome is a tough game to follow up, but Time Recoil doesn’t disappoint. I’m not finished yet, but I can tell I’ll be playing this one for a good while.

Love this game. It’s a great change from a typical top down shooter. There does seem to be an issue where I constantly lock on to file cabinets and can’t target enemies. Keeps getting me killed. Especially when it’s a file cabinet in another room.
Aside from this frustrating issue it’s an excellent game.
