Reviews: What People Think About Grandma's Great Gourd

I was super excited to purchase this interactive storybook about a strong female character for my daughter, and Grandma's Great Gourd is wonderful. The Roll the Gourd game inspired by the story is loads of fun and something that I can see my daughter wanting to come back to play again - "can I play grandma". We've also experimented with the Sound Effects Studio in the Recording section and all got a great thrill from hearing our voices pop out in the game and story. This is loads of fun for the entire family and a great way to engage kids while reading.

The kids can't get enough this darling new app. My six year old son, who is a certifiable gamer, loves the game and reading along along with the story. My 7 year old daughter says "it's the best game ever" and loves how the story feature is interactive.
I love that it has beautiful graphics, is easy for them to use on their own, and they are learning while they use it and having fun. Great addition to our app collection!

Enter the world of Grandma and her travels through the forest - the story gets you hooked with its visuals and the mini gourd rolling games. My son loves to see how far the gourd can roll and at the same time is being educated on south Asian food art and music. Loved how food was incorporated into this by a video by Chef Rama and the video on how to say Grandma in different languages. This is a definite keeper and would
recommend this app!
