App Profile: RankTribe Black Business Pages

RankTribe™ is a GPS-enabled Black Business Directory that will enable our communities to locate and support Black-owned businesses (and businesses that cater to Black patrons) and most importantly, offer meaningful ratings and incentives to encourage Black-owned businesses to support our communities. RankTribe™ enables two-way trust between the community and the businesses that serve them by opening up communication to address the needs of that community in terms of customer service, employment, quality goods and services. RankTribe™ is not just search engine, it is a social network between Black businesses and the communities they serve. We are not a competitor to Yelp, although we have been called "The Black Yelp'. We offer a niche market and fill a void that helps increase awareness of disenfranchised businesses or businesses that are hard to find.
