Update: the app is still terrible. They said they were working on a way to have no ads, and they come up with charging for monthly subscriptions. But, even if you buy in to that, you still have to purchase coins to play! If you run out of coins, you can earn 50 by-you guessed it- watching an ad every 24 hours. 50 coins per day. It takes a minimum of 500 to play a single game. And forget the โguaranteed random dealing.โ This is so predictable that I know exactly which cards will come next. Donโt waste your time! I love this game, but this app is clearly skewed. First off, you have to buy credits to play. But, then, after every game, you have to sit through FULL ads. That is super annoying. Secondly, the rating system is totally off. Players are rated A through E with the top being A. Players create their own tables, but E players can only play on E rated tables. A players can play any level. So essentially, the โbetterโ a player is, the more they can choose to play โworseโ opponents. This gives almost zero chance for new players to level up, as newer players are rated E. And most of the players in the E tables are A playersโฆhmmโฆ. The graphics are good, and this could be a great app, but the dealing is definitely not random. This game is absolutely one-sided.
I wanted to love this game, even kept playing when I knew the winner is predetermined before game begins. Unfortunately, I have experienced the same algorithm over and over again. One team wins round 1 and 2, other team wins round 3 and round 4 is a toss up. Ive played hundreds of games and can count on one hand the games that were close in score. Its almost always a complete blow out. This game would be so much more enjoyable if the cards dealt were truly random, but alas this is a company whose objective is to turn a profit, so game is designed to be addictive and force you to buy more coins to keep playing. Im currently on a 3 day losing streakโฆdesigned to make me lose all coins and buy more. Looking forward to a real response from the developers.
2stars only because of great graphics and awesome format, but otherwise, just feel ripped off :(. I have played hand and foot for over 30 years and was so excited to see it here! I spent $15, thought it was a great deal. I enjoy the game, really good at it..have even won tournaments. But I realized pretty quickly that this app isnโt for the skilled. Itโs dealers choice, and about luck. Game after game I was dealt singles, threes and kept from making canastas. All the while watching pones get perfect cards..game after game. People accuse others of cheating but I donโt see how you can. Sometimes I felt I was playing a bot. Itโs great at first, they let you win, actually feel like itโs a game. I donโt care about winning or losing as much as I do about playing a fun, challenging game!. You have that at first, but soon after you go from 100,000 tokens to nothing in no time. So disappointed. $15 isnโt enough for them to at least deal fairly and allow skill to win? I would have purchased more if it was fair and fun, but they arenโt the only app so I will keep searching. I hope to check back again and see better reviews to play again.
