Reviews: What People Think About Ocmo

I don’t pay for many mobile games, but this was an acceptation as I have been following the development for a while now and I was looking forward to it. The controls are a bit challenging at first, but after playing it a few times it starts to get a lot easier. I’m about 25% through the game and having a blast. Levels are challenging and with quick respawns, dying over and over on a level isn’t that big of a deal. I’m a completionist so I always go for 3 stars on every level. Which adds to the challenge... the art work and level design is gorgeous on my iPhone 6+, I want to get an iPad so I can have a bigger view on it! I’m an iOS developer myself, so I can tell the time and effort that went into this game. If you watched the trailer and are into the game, it is well worth the price!

Of ALL the games I’ve downloaded in the App Store, this is my favorite. By it’s own nature, Ocmo keeps challenging you to achieve a better time, even if you’ve cleared a level. As well, I feel it helps with hand/finger and eye coordination given the tactics involved to successfully make a good transit time but, it can also be frustrating for beginners (and seasoned players) when trying to get through what seems to be an impossible section... I completed the game and have achieved Top-Ten scores/times on several levels. I have a top score on a few of the levels. IT’s satisfying to get the top score, and frankly, some of the top scores are not only amazing, but seem impossible.
Ocmo can make the trip, but can you do the “Time”??

I had to edit my review as I’d look like a hypocrite now that I actually beat the final boss and 100% the light world, but I do stand by some of my comments regarding the extreme difficulty of the final boss.
That being said, everything else the game does to perfection and I love it. An absolute essential iOS game for anyone who likes really challenging games with a learning curve, as once you learn the mechanics of the controls you will start doing a lot better (that’s what happened to me; yup, I started out awful at the game and I just beat the final boss a few minutes ago - so that just goes to show ya). So I encourage any gamer who enjoys a really polished game that was hand-crafted by guys with a deep love for this game - and it all shows on the screen
