Reviews: What People Think About Braille Tutor+

Rating: 5/5
My son and our whole family are learning Braille. This app gives us an easy way to get more practice, even if we just have a few minutes of down time. It has a logical sequence of letters, word signs and contractions. We would recommend this app. My son says, “this app is so amazing. I would recommend this app.”

I use an iPad Aire 2 and a ZaggFolio bluetooth keyboard. I can accomplish the lessons 1 through 4 well but when I try lesson 5 and proceed with the letters starting with K and forward in this lesson I am unable to enter dots 1, 2, 3 for "l", on any of the other lessons going further. I can do dots 1,3 for "k", though.
I really like this tutorial because of its reinforcement it provides with every lesson, but I would like to go beyond lesson 4. If you can let me know what I am not doing correctly I would appreciate it. I think the concept is great but the bugs should be worked on.
Thanks R.A.
About Braille Tutor+
Learn and practice contracted braille (Unified English Braille) with Braille Tutor!
This is the paid version of the original Braille Tutor app, as requested by many educators whose organisations did not allow In-App purchases. All lessons and functionalities are same as the original (free) version.
Braille Tutor provides an interactive learning experience for a sighted or blind braille learner. It works on iPad using onscreen keys or home keys on a Bluetooth keyboard. It is self-voiced, but also works with iOS accessibility.
The app uses sounds and text-to-speech to support vision-impaired learners. Using a Bluetooth keyboard also gives the user a feel of the keys.
"Great App! :) Very good for consolidating braille skills learned, particularly at home / places where a learner might not have access to a Brailler."
