Reviews: What People Think About 2017 Basketball (Discontinued)

Overall, I think this can be a great app for helping not only improve, but evolve a basketball player. The only problem I’ve faced so far is that the camera has a very hard time differentiating between my left knee and the basketball. Often, whenever I’m doing a drill(especially with left hand dribbling) the camera will focus on my knee instead of the basketball, resulting in either way too low results or way too high results. This might just be because of my phone, but if it’s a user wide problem regardless of phone, it needs to be addressed.

This product is already a game changer for coaches that use it's strengths, and if news reports that the ball skin is changing to an incredibly accurate tracking color, any decent program would be insane not to utilize these. The company has recently updated the app after taking some time to concentrate on the soccer ball product. I've coached over 20 years, and I run one of the largest basketball training companies around, and this basketball is a dream come true. We love the product and the kids in our camps/clinics, plus our travel teams have increased their ability much faster than they would have without the ball. As a coach, you do have to tweak how and what you are using the ball for at this time when accuracy is very good, but not perfect. We use the tool to make sure kids are completing daily playlists more so than judging the metrics. Just having the kids work the ball daily ensures they improve and saves us practice time to work on other side. The company has recently updated the app and the tracking has gotten much better. I understand there is another ball with a skin that will be tracked/picked-up even better in 2019. Once that happens, and there is just a little more accuracy, then we will be able to not just make sure kids are completing drills daily, but also be able to see very specific metrics to allow them to compete with each other.

My son has had it for two weeks we had a tournament this weekend and you can tell that the app has helped. Very creative and intuitive program for basketball dribbling drills. But what we love the most about it is that it has a grading concept from A’s to a C to D so every kid loves getting A’s on the report card. It keeps my son engage in improving his basketball dribbling skills love the app. It’s great for coaching and a coaching aid to help the kids to be responsible on their own development. Just got to love it. Niqo
