This is fun and reminds me of heroes of might and magic, the turn based combat is great and the heroes are well balanced. I've reached level 79 and I usually log in three times a day when you get the free bonus energy. I've made a few iap's when there are good bonuses and when I need to buy rare items. The later level stuff and getting to the top of the leaderboards will require you to spend a ton of money. I don't play much for the PvP stuff because you will get stomped by heroes with items you'd need to spend a lot to defeat.

At its core, this game has some nice features. The design looks good, the turn-based strategy is good, the characters and their moves are pretty well balanced. But then it falls victim to all the worst things in gaming history. Higher end characters and certain items are only available by spending hundreds of dollars. Those characters are so overpowered that they throw off the balance of the game. Arbitrary wait times serve only to frustrate the player into bypassing them by spending more money. These game mechanics are exploitive, and should be stopped. Make a game that is fun and fair for the players, and charge a flat cost for what it is worth. Don't design in frustration and unfairness as a way to squeeze more money.

Don't let ppl saying its P2W fool you, they just couldn't hang. The Top arena teams on my server are almost always F2P. It's grindy at higher lvls, as expected with these games, but there's plenty to do. Live PvP is balanced and fun. You can enjoy every aspect of the game(including P2P heroes thru borrow system) without spending a dime. Things get slightly easier if you do throw a few bucks at them(5$monthly card ftw!), but hey, they gotta make money somehow right? Oh and support has responded within an hour and resolved every issue I've had. Good game.
