The Agri-food industry is particularly vulnerable to fraud, which can have direct consequences on consumers and negative economic effects on producers.

Integrating processes with technical innovations used for traceability and authentication gives more guarantees to consumers and better protects products, making the food supply chain more efficient and secure.

With this objective in mind, the Autonomous Region of Aosta Valley and EXPO VdA launch for the consumers “Verifica Autenticità”, a FREE and easy to use application able to:
- Guarantee you that your purchase is safe and genuine
- Obtain precise tracking information about the product such as the manufacturing date and plant
- Access to detailed data about products and the Aosta valley
- Provide a way to report mistakes or incorrect data and contribute to the improvement of the food chain safety.
