This game is everything I was looking for: a fun turn-based strategy card game where you assemble a team and pit yours vs an opponent's. The graphics are fun and whimsically memorable. The concept is just wonderful.
The execution is a shame. These developers care more about making money than making a really good game. The prices for cards are extremely, ridiculously off the wall crazy. I've been playing this game and hearthstone for a while now, and I'm hearthstone I can win a pack of new cards for just completing a few quests. In this game, you spend hours saving up gold for one card that almost always is something you don't need or can't use. The only way to get good cards and build a good team is to surrender your money to these scheming Dev-thieves.

Having collected quite a bit, but still lacking a few Mavens, I do really like this game.
I wish the pricing structure was more predictable- like $1 or $2 for a complete Maven. I would have gone all in. The RNG gen system takes so much of the fun out of this for me. I consistently get 8/10 cards I already have and that turns into a paltry amount of dust. I don't foresee ever getting enough to buy either Lightbringer or Griffin Knight.
I hope this gets reimplemented as everything else about the game is fantastic.

Mavenfall brings genius innovation to CCGs. Nostalgic SNES feel with simple yet deep strategy keeps me coming back.
Devs have fixed most of the bugs but now there's a new one: rotating maven sale in the card shop is stuck on an infinite loop. Hard to finish a collection and spend premium currency when it's stuck on a maven you already have all the cards for.
Thanks for making this game, and I am looking forward to another couple dozen mavens in the future!
